Deaf Village North West is working with Spring North to help make cancer information from the Lancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance more accessible to Deaf people. Spring North brings community organisations together with the Cancer Alliance, and we contribute our knowledge of Deaf communication to help share important messages in British Sign Language (BSL). This includes information about cancer symptoms and what people can do if they have concerns, helping reduce barriers so Deaf people can access and understand vital health information.
