Wellbeing Officer – Full-Time

Salary: £25,500–£29,500 per year
Location: Blackburn, BB2 5EN
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Join our Deaf-led team and help support Deaf people to live confidently and independently.

​

We particularly welcome applications from Deaf candidates and fluent BSL users.

​

Key responsibilities

• Support Deaf clients at Deaf Village and in the community

• Use BSL to support communication and independence

• Help with budgeting, cooking, cleaning and daily living skills

• Attend appointments and activities with clients

• Complete support plans, daily logs and reports

• Promote wellbeing, safeguarding and independence

• Work closely with staff and other professionals

Requirements

• Fluent in British Sign Language

• At least 1 year of support work experience

• Willing to travel locally

• Caring, reliable and confident working as part of a team

​
