Free Deaf Awareness training sessions coming to South Ribble

Deaf Village is working with South Ribble Borough Council to offer free Deaf Awareness training for people who work in South Ribble.

The three-hour sessions will help participants build their understanding of Deaf awareness and consider how small changes can make communication more accessible.

Training will take place at Leyland Civic Centre, PR25 1DH, on:

• Friday 30 October 2026, 9am–12pm

• Wednesday 18 November 2026, 1pm–4pm

• Wednesday 16 December 2026, 9am–12pm

• Friday 29 January 2027, 9.30am–12.30pm

• Wednesday 17 February 2027, 1pm–4pm

• Friday 5 March 2027, time to be confirmed
