Unique Support Package Model

Wellbeing Officer

Our Native Deaf Wellbeing Officers, supported by Communication Support Workers, ensure Deaf clients can access services without communication barriers. We help with benefits, budgeting, healthcare, independent living, digital skills, employment, community access and translation of information. The Deaf Hub is open to all and provides specialist support for the Deaf community.

Our Deaf Hub offers a unique support package for our Deaf Clients.

Each client that is referred or comes to us for support is matched with a native Deaf Wellbeing Officer, who offers a full communication support package, they also act as a role model for the Deaf client to enable them support and access to goods, services, education, training and employment.

Our Deaf Hub 

We have on hand a multidisciplinary team consisting of consist of RSLI’s, Communication Support Workers, Native Wellbeing Officers, qualified Deaf and Hearing teachers, qualified intermediary, Sports Coach, Careers Coach, experienced Benefits Advisor, Housing Support Officer, Digital Skills Mentor, Apprenticeships Advisor.
