Terms and Conditions – Extra Care Register Support
1. Service Overview
Deaf Village North West provides support through Communication Support Workers (CSWs) to assist individuals in completing the Extra Care Register application. This support may include guidance, explaining information, and helping complete forms.
This support service is provided free of charge.
2. Booking and Appointments
After submitting the support request form, a member of the Deaf Village team will contact you to confirm your appointment time.
You will receive confirmation by email or phone once your booking has been scheduled.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.
3. Role of Deaf Village
Deaf Village North West acts only as a support and guidance service to help individuals complete the Extra Care Register application.
We do not process, approve, manage, or control the Extra Care Register.
All applications are submitted to and managed by the relevant energy provider.
4. Partnership Organisations
This service may be delivered in partnership with external organisations, including but not limited to SP Energy Networks and Electricity North West.
Deaf Village North West is not responsible for the decisions, actions, services, policies, or outcomes provided by these organisations.
Any services, decisions, or communications made by partner organisations are the responsibility of those organisations alone.
5. No Guarantee of Registration
While our team will support you in completing the application, Deaf Village cannot guarantee acceptance onto the Extra Care Register.
Approval, eligibility, and management of the register are determined solely by the relevant energy provider.
6. Information Provided
Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide during the application process is accurate and truthful.
Deaf Village cannot be held responsible for issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the applicant.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deaf Village North West will not be liable for:

Any decisions made by energy providers regarding Extra Care Register applications

Any actions, policies, or services provided by partner organisations

Any technical issues or delays beyond our control
8. Changes to the Service
Deaf Village North West reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw this support service at any time.
